Spatial fluidity, integrated technology and continuous materials

Integral reform in Portals Nous

The objective was clear from the beginning: to completely rethink the distribution and use of space to adapt it to a new way of living, more connected, efficient and serene.

Architectural and spatial redesign

A total redistribution was proposed, eliminating unnecessary partitions and creating an open floor plan, with smooth transitions and continuous circulation.

The curved corners on the walls and the joints were key to provide visual fluidity and an organic language that runs throughout the house.

Technology integration

At the technical level, the project incorporates advanced solutions designed for daily comfort and minimum visual impact:

  • Underfloor heating throughout the house.
  • Centralized domotic system, with lighting, temperature and audio control.
  • Invisible, in-wall speakers with high sound quality.

In addition, a Daikin Altherma aerothermal system has been installed, a highly energy-efficient solution that provides heating, cooling and domestic hot water.

This equipment can replace traditional boilers and significantly reduce energy consumption, taking advantage of the energy from the outside air to air-condition the house.

Materials and finishes

The materials accompany the formal project proposal. It was used:

  • Continuous microcement in floors and bathrooms.
  • A palette of earth tones brings coherence and warmth.
  • Curved lines, neutral materials and soft textures to generate an enveloping atmosphere.

A more conscious way of living

This project reflects a way of approaching the integral reform as a process of synthesis between design, functionality and technology. Every decision -from the structure to the invisible details- responds to a common objective: to improve the space from comfort, simplicity and integration.
